Najiz Services Explained: What You Can Do Online at the Ministry of Justice

Wooden gavel on an open law book, representing online justice services on Najiz

Najiz is where most dealings with the Saudi Ministry of Justice now happen. Lawsuits, enforcement requests, powers of attorney and many other judicial services are done online, often without visiting a court or a notary. If you are new to the platform, or more comfortable in English, this guide explains how Najiz is organised, what you can do there and how to avoid the usual mistakes.

How Najiz is organised

The Ministry of Justice describes Najiz as having four portals, each for a different type of user:

  • Individuals: citizens and residents handling their own matters.
  • Businesses: establishments, through a business account that has to be activated first.
  • Lawyers: licensed lawyers acting for clients.
  • Government entities.

Services are grouped by area: judiciary, enforcement, notarization and powers of attorney, declarations, social cases and licensing. The Ministry says the platform offers more than 140 e-services, and they are also available through the Najiz app.

What you can do on Najiz

Court services

Filing lawsuits electronically, following case progress, checking hearing dates and receiving judgments. If you are following up on an existing case, our guide to following up court cases electronically goes into more detail.

Enforcement

Submitting enforcement requests and checking the status of existing ones online. The Ministry has also added an online notification service for financial claims.

Powers of attorney

Issuing electronic powers of attorney, checking them and terminating them. The Ministry offers an electronic service to terminate a power of attorney, as principal or agent, without visiting the notary public.

Real estate

Several property procedures, such as electronic title transfer, involve judicial platforms. Our guide to online property due diligence explains what to check before you buy.

Before you start

  • Log in with Nafath. Najiz uses the National Single Sign-On, so you need your own active digital identity and access to your registered phone.
  • Use the right portal. A company matter goes through the business portal, which needs an activated business account.
  • Prepare documents digitally. Clear scans or PDFs of IDs, contracts and supporting papers save time.
  • Keep your details current. Notifications go to the phone and email on your record.

Common mistakes

  • Filing in your personal capacity when the matter belongs to your company.
  • Uploading unclear or incomplete supporting documents.
  • Missing a deadline because notifications went to an old phone number.
  • Sharing your Nafath verification code with someone helping you.

How do I log in to Najiz?

Through the National Single Sign-On (Nafath) with your own digital identity and the verification code sent to your phone. Never share that code with anyone.

Yes. The Ministry of Justice offers an electronic service on Najiz to terminate a power of attorney, whether you are the principal or the agent, without visiting the notary public.

Can someone represent me in court through Najiz?
